Eagle Eye Video Monitoring

In this day and age, video surveillance is a must-have component that all businesses need.  But with regular video surveillance systems, you are typically viewing the past, not proactively engaging with the present.  When you find broken glass the next morning, you can go back through recorded footage and see when the break-in occurred. You can get descriptions of the vehicles that the perpetrators used, even descriptions of the perpetrators themselves. But that didn’t stop the break-in in progress.

To solve these shortcomings, some companies resort to hiring security guards. This can be a periodic patrol that occasionally comes by, or even full-time staff that’s on site and able to respond to situations immediately. But of course, full-time guard service is expensive, and periodic guard service is periodic. What if there were a better way? What if, instead of paying a guard to watch the cameras continuously (with nothing usually happening), you only had to have someone view a camera’s feed when an actual event occurs?

And, even for full-time, on-site guards, Eagle Eye's video management system keeps an ever-vigilent eye on your property, to enhance your human guard's capabilities.  After all, Eagle Eye never takes a break, and never looks away.  It views at all camers, all the time, simultaneously.

It All Starts with AI-driven Video Analytics

Video analytics that can detect between people, vehicles, animals, and other items has been around for several years now. In fact, pretty much all modern cameras,  support some level of object detection analytics. Even a cheap camera that you can get at a big box store will have that functionality built-in. But that typically means that you can simply search for object types in recorded footage, to make the searching much faster. But again, that’s after the fact.

With Eagle Eye video monitoring, the heavy lifting is done by Eagle Eye’s cloud servers, not by human observers. Once a person or vehicle moves into the detection area, the monitoring process is triggered, and the camera feed is sent to an available monitoring center agent. Only then does a real-life human get involved to determine whether verbal warning systems need activated, lights need turned on, or authorities need notified.

Advanced Analytics for Gun Detection

Eagle Eye also has advanced gun detection analytics.  It starts with Edge Computing (an on-site Eagle Eye bridge) that examines the video feeds of its connected cameras, frame-by-frame in real time.

If a brandished gun (a gun in someone’s hand) is detected, Eagle Eye’s cloud servers then verify the bridge’s assessment.  This involves a high-end AI model, that runs exclusively on Eagle Eye's servers, leveraging capabilities not available in on-site hardware.  Once a brandished gun has been verified, the video is then passed to a monitoring center agent to double-check, which eliminates almost all false alarms.

At this time, the agent can verify the AI's assessment, and report the incident to your contacts, whether that be guards or police, as well as send notifications to other staff, and even initiate lockdown protocols.  All this happens within seconds.

Bring Your Own Cameras

With current support for over 8,000 models of cameras, and new cameras being added regularly, if you already have an existing investment in cameras (whether digital or analog), you don't have to start from scratch with all new cameras.

Even if your current camera models are not currently directly supported, they can usually use a similar camera's profile and work as-is.  And, if no funtional profile can be found for your specific camera model, a custom-built profile can be requested for full camera functionality.

In most cases, just adding Eagle Eye's bridge or CMVR (Cloud-Managed Video Recorder) gets you the full gamit of Eagle Eye's advanced video features and monitoring capabilities.

Or Let Us Install Cameras for You

Bonsall Security has over 20 years experience installing cameras, in some of the most challenging wire-running situations. Due to our long history as a subcontactor for larger security companes, we have installed countless brands and models of cameras over the years.

With our vast experience, we can tailor a new camera system for you, whether it is for a new-build, retrofit, or even camera upgrades. Our wire-running skills are second-to-none, ensuring the best installation available.

Cloud Storage is the Foundation

Eagle Eye's system, from the ground-up, is based upon cloud storage, and the advanced AI functionality that that brings to the table.  Eagle Eye is also flexible, allowing various video quality and retention periods (video storage days), allowing the service to be customized to various budgets.

And, with new uses for video analytics entering the market regularly, and with some of the enormous, data center-driven processing required, to not only detect certain objects, but also eliminate false alarms, it's really a service whose pricing can't be beat.  It really can do things that are infeasible for on-site hardware to accomplish on its own.

Local Storage Available Too

In some situations, though, on-site storage is desired as well, or even required.  And, for low-bandwidth situations, an on-site recorder can be a necessity.  Because of situations like these, Eagle Eye also has a line of on-site video recorders, called CMVRs.

Integrates with Acess Control Systems

As Eagle Eye is a Brivo Solution, it has native integration capabilities with Brivo's Access platform. Easily find video clips related to a user's access events.  Manually or automatically initiate a lockdown.

And, because Eagle Eye offers integration via an open, developer-freindly RESTful API platform, integration is even possible with third-party access control systems.  If developing a custom software integration solution is not a viable option, Eagle Eye also has relay options available, which can trigger inputs on any other access control system.
