Command supports two recording options with its compatible cameras, that can fit any budget. The standard option uses event-triggered, cloud-based recording. For instance, if the camera outside the front door sees motion, or if the front door is opened, a video clip can be triggered to record, which is then stored on ADT's servers, allowing you to view those clips with the ADT Control app.
 

But, if you need continuous recording, there's an option for that, too – the ADT Command Stream Video Recorder, or SVR (currently only available for residential use; a small business model is expected in the third quarter of 2020).

The SVR records video 24x7 from Command's indoor and outdoor cameras (video doorbell not supported), but still allows for video to be searched based upon all events logged by Command, such as when the front door is opened, the living room motion sensor detects motion, or the kitchen glassbreak sensor is tripped. So, if you had a package stolen from your front porch, you can search by the camera's own motion-triggered events, and can playback only those events, without having to go through the whole day's recorded footage.
